Jimmy Adrian and Jack Piper grew up together in Iowa, and bonded over their love of all things
barbecue. They became seasoned BBQ experts, spending their spare time tracking down great
‘cue and judging barbecue competitions while Jimmy spent time cooking at New Orleans'
acclaimed Commander's Palace. In 2005, the duo took the obvious next step and opened up
Jimmy Jack’s Rib Shack, which is today renowned as one of the very best BBQ joints in Iowa.
